PERφORM:1 Student Performance Festival

My Participation in the First Student Performance Festival in Public Space.
Location : Florina, Greece.
Name of Performance : Monument For a Childhood Memory.
H όλη ιδέα της δράσης αυτής ήταν να δημιουργηθεί μια παρέμβαση στον δημόσιο χώρο
,μια γέννηση ενός μνημείου μνήμης.
Η πλατεία πέρα από όλους του άλλους ρόλους που κατέχει σε μια πόλη αρχιτεκτονικούς και ιδεολογικούς αποτελεί ένα σημείο αναψυχής ,ανάμνησης και παιχνιδιού κυρίως για τα παιδιά .
Δίνεται λοιπόν η σύνδεση των παιδικών αναμνήσεων από δύο διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς Δύσης και Ανατολής , Αγγλίας και Ελλάδας- Liverpool και Φλώρινας από τα σημαντικότερα μέλη των κοινωνιών αυτών, τα παιδιά.
Αυτό, χρησιμοποιώντας στοιχεία και από τις δυο κουλτούρες δίνοντας έμφαση στο ζωντανό αποτύπωμα που αφήνει μια ανάμνηση και τη δημιουργία του σε έργο Τέχνης σε δημόσια θέα.

The whole idea was to create a really temporary and weird monument into the public space of Florina.
The central square of a city, besides of its use in architecture,
exist as a place that mostly people with their children gather and have fun-create memories.
So, the point was to create a connection between two diffrent cultures-From East to West- of children and their memories ,
emphasized to the living print that a memory gives and transforming it into a temporary piece of Art.
( the main reference was the story that made John Lennon wrote the song 'Strawberry Fields Forever' in Liverpool-England)
Utopia Project- Funeral Of Fear.
Στο ερώτημα ''ποιά θα ήταν η δική σου Ουτοπία;'' η απάντηση θα ήταν,μια πραγματικότητα στην οποία ο Φόβος στους ανθρώπους δε θα δημιουργούσε όλα αυτά τα αρνητικά αποτελέσματα.
Θα ήταν μια 'ευτοπία' , μια έννοια του μετενσαρκωμένη, η οποία θα χάριζε σε αυτούς ευφορία, ηρεμία και κενό σκέψεις.
Κενό όχι με την έννοια του άδειου αλλά του καινού έτοιμου για να γεμίσει.
Το ιεροτελεστικό κομμάτι εισήχθηκε στην όλη Δράση καθώς οι άνθρωποι είναι στενά συνδεμένοι με την ανάγκη του ανώτερου-αγνού-ιερού στη ζωή τους.
Κυρίως στη χώρα μας με την αρχαία και θρησκευτική(νεότερη) παράδοση που έχουμε,
το κομμάτι της ταφής και αναγέννησης είναι ισχυρό και η ιεροτελεστία της κηδείας πολύ σημαντική.
Η κηδεία είναι μια ολόκληρη διαδικασία προετοιμασίας για τη μετέπειτα ακολουθία της ψυχής-μια καινούρια ζωή- ,
μια γιορτή για πολλούς πολιτισμούς ,ή μια διαδικασία με την οποία αποβάλουμε τα νεκρά σώματα.
Το νόημά της διαφοροποιείται από χώρα σε χώρα, πολιτισμό σε πολιτισμό, άνθρωπο σε άνθρωπο.
Με τη Performance αυτή ο κάθε θεατής κυδεύτει τον δικό του φόβο και γεννάε την αλήθεια του.
In order to answer in the question, what your Utopia would be? I had to reveal my bigest dream.
My Utopia, would be a Eutopia.
a dream land that Fear would only cause to people positive thoughts and feelings.A new god , that would give to his believers the goods of a calm and resting soul for ever.
So, in this Performance for Camera, you can watch the funeral of an old God of horror and negative enrgy ,with a combination of our traditional elements in the Greek folk Funerals and the rebirth of my brand new positive God of Fear.

In this Video Performance the main goal was to add a print of the artistic aura of Caravaggio-era of Baroc and Mannerism into a modern form of art such as performance for camera and Create the connection between this act with mythology and ceremonies based on ancient religions.

''Performing your everyday life'' .
This act is all about the strugles,stereotypes and tasks of a modern woman in Western civilization that has to manage from the very first hours of the day till the dawn.
The Performance here
is trying to focus on the luck of emotions and expresions, due to the everyday strugles of a woman with the boundries of the society and especially the result of all this action , the amnesia of who 'she' actually is.

Τον Απρίλιο και πιο συγκεκριμένα από την πρώτη έως και την τρίτη αυτού,
στη Θεσσαλονίκη,
πραγματοποιήθηκε το workshop το οποίο συντόνισε η Αγγελική Αυγητίδου με αντικείμενο τη Τέχνη της Performance και τη παρέμβαση μέσω αυτής, στο δημόσιο χώρο.
Performance and actions in Public space , Thessaloniki 2016.
A workshop led by dr. Angeliki Avgitidou and Fotini Kalle about Performance and intervention in Public Space .
In this workshop the main aim was to sharpen our senses with plenty of exercises based on meditation, yoga and theater. Furthermore, the issue of trust between us and our performance partner was significant, so I participate in plenty of exercises such as 'gazing', ramble through the city with parts of our bodies stucked together etc.
The workshop finished with a Performance of every member .
My performance named ''Amputation''
The references was about the amputation of parts in our personalities
in order to satisfy standards that the modern society requires.
This Action expressed by a personna ( a fantastic character created by me) acting and performing in the Public Space.
